F.D.N.Y.
At the Hall of Flame Museum of Firefighting in Phoenix Arizona, they’ve recently finished the restoration of a fire truck that responded to the events that unfolded in New York City on 9/11/2001. The firefighters on the truck did not survive however the truck has. It’s now on display, helping to tell the story of those lost heroes- the first responders. This set of Maltese cross plaques are newly cast replicas. One to replace a damaged original that was mounted to the front of the truck. All I did was hand-paint the red on them.
